Retired - Midnight Gold Necklace

1. Cut the gold chain into two 6 inch lengths, and one 4.25 inch length. Set aside.
2. Cut one 4.5 inch length of black chain. Set aside.
3. Cut 10 inches of flex wire, place a bead stopper 2 inches from the end, and string on three 6mm beads.
4. String through one end link of the 4.25 inch length of gold chain.
5. Next, string on in this order: one 6mm bead, one 10mm bead, and repeat twelve more times, then end with one more 6mm bead.
6. String through the other end link of the 4.25 inch length of gold chain, so that it drapes above the beads you just strung.
7. String on three more 6mm beads, then string through one end link of the 4.5 inch length of black chain.
8. String on a crimping bead and thread protector, then thread the wire back through your crimping bead and a couple of the beads next to it. Pull snug and crimp the crimping bead. Cut off excess flex wire.
9. Add a crimp cover Close the crimp cover.
10. Remove the bead stopper from the other end of the flex wire, and repeat the above process to close off the other side using a crimping bead, thread protector, and crimp cover.
11. Now take one of the 6 inch lengths of gold chain, open one end link as you would a jump ring, and close it over the loop of one of the thread protectors.
12. Repeat above step to attach the other 6 inch length of gold chain to the other thread protector.
13. Open the opposite end link of one 6 inch length of gold chain, and close it over the loop at the back of the clasp.
14. Repeat the above step to attach a 6 mm jump ring on the end of the other 6 inch length of gold chain.
