Gold elements glow in this layered necklace featuring a Zola Elements crescent moon pendant. Toho 8/0 seed beads and heishe metal spacers are strung on two strands of delicate matte gold beading chain. The necklace is finished with a lobster clasp and extender chain for variable length.

Instructions

This necklace is made with a chain extender for adjustable length from 16 to 18 inches.

Begin by using pliers to open a 4mm jump ring and slide on the top loop of your crescent moon pendant. Close the jump ring. Set aside.
Use flush cutters to cut two lengths of beading chain that are 15 inches and 17 inches respectively.
Insert one end of each chain length into a single cord end. Use crimping pliers to crimp the cord end the same way you would a crimp tube.
Onto the 15 inch chain, string the following beads: one metallic, one coral, five blue, three heishi spacers, five blue, one coral, one metallic.
Onto the 17 inch chain, string the following beads: five coral, two heishi spacers, five metallic, two heishi spacers, ten blue. Then slide on the jump ring of your crescent moon pendant. Repeat this step in reverse to add beads on the other side of your pendant (see photo for reference).
Repeat step 3 to attach a cord end to the opposite side of your necklace.
To attach your clasp: Open a jump ring and slide on the loop of one cord end. Also slide on the loop of your clasp. Close the jump ring.
Repeat the above step on the opposite side of your necklace, this time sliding on the end link of your chain extender. Enjoy!
