An eye-catching pattern is created in this bracelet by whip stitching soft purple faux suede onto antiqued silver parallel curb chain.
Instructions

Note: Components and tools listed within this INSTRUCTIONS box and the printer-friendly PDF, if available, may have been discontinued since this project was published. Refer to the PURCHASE COMPONENTS and TOOLS AND OTHER SUPPLIES sections for current availability.

This bracelet fits a 6.5 inch wrist. For a longer bracelet, add additional 6mm jump rings on each side when attaching your clasp. You will also need some thread to use with your tying station.
  1. Please watch our video: How to Make a Cross Style Chain Woven Bracelet. Using what you have learned in the video, begin by cutting two 6 inch lengths of chain, making sure to leave the smaller links on the ends. Also cut 2.5 feet of faux suede.
  2. Line up your two lengths of chain so that they are parallel, and load them onto your tying station using thread, as shown in the video.
  3. String your faux suede through the larger end link of each chain section, leaving a 4 inch tail. You should have about 26 inches of suede left for completing the weave.
  4. Follow along with the video to whip stitch the faux suede through the links of chain until you complete your weave.
  5. Tie off and weave in the ends of your faux suede on either side of your bracelet, and attach your clasp as shown in the video. Enjoy your bracelet!
