Hi, this is Kat with beadaholique.com and what this does is this rounds the tip of your wire in case you are making earring hooks or if you're doing some wire wrapping and just want to have a nice clean finish so just to give you a little bit of dimension this is a one point eight millimeter cup and this will round wire up to 14 gauge thickness so right here I have an 18 gauge wire and I've gone ahead and clipped the ends and you can tell they're a little sharp just on the end there hopefully you can see that so what you're going to do is you're going to take your wire under tool and you're gonna hold it just on top and you're just gonna screw back and forth and what this does is this files the little burrs that are on the tip of the wire there so you just go for a little bit you can keep checking in and you can already tell it's been rounded down just a little bit I'm gonna go a little further though because I really want this to be nice and round you don't have to press very hard just make sure that you have a firm grip on your wire and you just twist back and forth and there we go see now you can see that the wire has been nice and smooth on the top and it's been rounded and that's it that's all you need to do to sort of take the burrs off of any clipped wire that you might be working with this is a great little handy tool to keep in your toolbox so there you have it that is how to use a wire rounder tool and you can find this and many other items at beadaholique.com you
