hi this is Alexandra with beadaholique - how to make the peacocks pride earring for this project I have my bead snips and some flat nose pliers I've got checkmates - whole bar beads mini duo's some Toho Demi rounds in eleven oh and a toe fire polish Czech glass bead and emerald a couple of earring hooks and I have begun by cutting a foot and a half of my four pound test smoke fireline strung my needle on and I've also strong eight of the a toe toe hose alternated with seven of the two whole bar beads so I'm going to string those on to my thread down toward the bottom and also put on my check fire polished glass bead I'm gonna tie a knot around all of this just to cure it into a loop so I've gone around in one overhand knot there and now I'm going to do the surgeon's knot where I go around twice just to make sure it's tight on twice and I'll go ahead and snip the tail once I've secured my nod I'm gonna go ahead and take my thread through this a toto ho bring the needle thread it through and come up through the second hole of my bar bead I'm now beginning the second row of beads on the tail of the earring and so for this I'm going to take an 1100 mini duo and another 11 now and come back through the next bar bead I'll do that all around all around the edge 11 Oh mini duo 11 Oh bar bead 1100 mini duo 11 Oh Barbie and so forth alright once I've come around to my seventh bar bead I'm going to again come through my a Toto ho my large be my a toto ho again through the second hole of my first bar bead one more time this is where I'll begin the third layer of my earring yeah sure it's tight and for this layer I'll begin with three of the eleven hose to fill the small space between the bar bead and the mini duo once I've come through there it's gonna be a matter of stringing 711 o's between each mini duo until I get to the end I'll be adding three more 11 hos Devon there through alright I've got my last set of seven and now I'm putting on my three to fill that smaller space and that will complete the bottom tail portion coming back through that top hole of the two will be there and again through my eight oh now from this point we're gonna start up the top of the earring so after i re-entered my Adobe dime in between the eight millimeter in the eight oh I'm gonna add eleven no wait twelve I'm gonna add twelve of these 11 house six all right I got my 12 and now I'm gonna put one of these mini duo's and then three one two three my last three of the eight O's once I've added on my three a toto ho beads at the top I'm going to loop back through that very last one and double back through the two of them and double back through the second hole of my mini duo tighten that thread up and then I'll be adding 12 more of the eleven OC beads it will be our last step before tying it off so I get it nice and tight on there and the last of my beads I really enjoy working with these deme rounds they add a lot of our soot ility to the design they're so delicate alright so I'm coming back through my a Toto hoe and this is where I can go ahead and tie the earring off I'm gonna loop around and through to do an overhand knot once and twice then I'm gonna go ahead and thread up through my second hole here and do a second knot just to secure it once and twice and then I'll be ready to put on your wire I know all that's left is to add the air wire go ahead and open it with my flat pliers to the side and they could string directly on to a toto ho bead close it up nice and tight and there's the peacock spy earrings this project bundles available at beadaholique.com thanks for watching you
