Hello. Andrea here from Beadaholique.com. Today I'm going to show you how to make this simple yet elegant pair of Swarovski Crystal Earrings. Now this project is perfect for beginners or if you are going out for a night on the town and you want to throw together a quick pair of earrings, these are also really great. To begin I have this really unique earring hook. It's sterling silver. I love the shape of it. And I also have a Swarovski Crystal mini pear pendent and this is in the crystal silver shadow color. It comes in many different colors. What I'm going to need besides the earring hook and the pendant, are two different sizes of jump rings. These are both sterling silver. They are both 18 gauge. This one is eight millimeter and this one is five millimeter. To begin, you're going to need two pairs of chain nose pliers. You're going to take your larger jump ring. If you've seen our other video on how to open and close a jump ring, you'll know that you grasp either side. Twist the two sides away from one another So now that I have my jump ring open I simply slide my pendant on to it, like so. And once again give it a twist, close the jump ring back up. Now do the same thing with the smaller jump ring. Open it up. This time I want to slide the smaller jump ring through the larger jump ring, through loop at the bottom of your earring hook. And simply close it back up again. And there you have it. Now besides the pear pendants, this can be interchangeable with any kind of pendant you like. I have some other prepared pendants for you here. They are all Swarovski Crystal And they are just different shapes. This a drop, and that's a baroque pendant and this is a wild heart pendant. And they are really great for changing up your looks. You can really play a lot with it and make it in different colors. And you can use different types of wire as well for the earring hooks and the jump rings. You can make it in gold plated, gold filled, brass, copper. Whatever you like. And that's it. That's how you make the simple and very elegant pair of earrings. Go to Beadaholique.com for all of your beading supply needs!
