Retired - Golden Olives Peyote Bracelet

1. If you are not familiar with odd count peyote please watch our video here. You may also find our video, How to Do 2 Drop Flat Even Count Peyote Stitch Bead Weaving, helpful for this project.
2. The attached pattern is meant to be a guide for this project. This weave is similar to a two drop peyote but for each gold "bead" you will be using one demi round, one 8/0 seed bead and one demi round as one bead so when you look at the pattern it is really only 5 columns wide, and a three drop peyote. There are five rows of gold beads in between the sections where you will use 4 demi rounds as one unit. Please see photo for reference.
3. To begin, thread your needle, add a stopper bead and leave a tail of about 18 inches. This will be to add the clasp later.
4. Pick up one demi round, one 8/0 seed bead and one demi round. Repeat 4 times. Then turn around and pick up one demi round, one 8/0 seed bead and one demi round and go thru the next set of beads.
5. Looking at the pattern the red beads represent 4 demi round beads.
6. Continue to weave until you have reached your desired length.
7. To complete the clasp you will end with the second and fourth columns as up beads. Thread down into the row below and bring your needle up though the second column gold bead. Add one gold bead and go thru one loop of the tube clasp and add one more gold bead then go down through the demi bead to the side of the gold bead. Take your needle and follow the thread path to come up at the fourth column gold bead and repeat the above to attach the second loop.
8. For the other side of the bracelet you will need to add one more row so that this side has the second and fourth column as up beads. Then continue to add the clasp as done in the above step.
9. Tie off and weave in your threads.
10. All done!
