Retired - Fringed Leaves Necklace

1. Please watch our video: How to Cut Create Recklessly Faux Leather into Shapes. Take the strip of pewter grey faux leather and cut out a triangle approximately 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 2 1/2. Trace this shape on to the grey ultra suede. Cut out the shape. Set both aside.
2. Cut about 18 leaves out of the green faux leather.
3. Use the Rotating Leather Hole Punch, and punch holes with the 2mm holes near one side of the leaves.
4. For this next step please watch our video: How to Set Cap Rivets in Faux Leather. You will now attach each of the leaves with the cap compression rivets to the grey triangle. You will be adding two or three leaves to each of the rivets. For my example, I used 9 rivets for my 18 leaves. This is an area for you to customize your necklace. Also once you have decided where you are going to place your rivets on the triangle, you will need to punch holes in the grey leather as well, but not the grey ultra suede.
5. Once you have added all of the leaves, Use a dab of crafter's pick to attach the ultra suede to the back of this triangle to cover up all the rivets. Let dry.
6. Take the rotary hole punch again, this time using the 3mm punch on the two top corners of the triangle.
7. Set the eyelets into these two holes using the eyelet setting tool from the tool kit.
8. Take the 2 feet length of chain and open the link of one end and pinch it around the eyelet on one side of the triangle. Repeat on the other side of the necklace with the other end of the chain.
9. As a final touch, snip the leaves twice on each side to give it a fringed look. Please see photo for reference.
10. All done!
