- Watch the instructional video: How to Weave a Basic Beaded Bezel. Follow the instructions in the video to weave a beaded bezel around a 16mm crystal rivoli using round 11/0 seed beads in transparent frosted teal for the main part of the bezel. Your tubular peyote ring needs to contain 36 beads per round. Weave three rows.
- Then switch to round 15/0 seed beads in opaque turquoise and complete two rows. Switch to round 15/0 seed beads in silver lined milky white and complete one row.
- Weave through to the first row of 11/0 seed beads. Place the rivoli into the bezel with the front against the side with the rows of 15/0 beads.
- Using the opaque turquoise beads, complete two rows. Weave through to the middle row of 11/0 beads.
- Then watch the instructional video: How to Embellish a Beaded Bezel for the Evening Star Necklace. Follow the steps in the video to complete the embellishments for your bezel using the opaque turquoise and milky white 15/0 seed beads, the teal 11/0 seed beads, and 11/0 delica beads in galvanized silver. Tie off and weave in your threads.
- Watch the instructional video: How to do Spiral Rope Stitch for Beading. This video will teach you how to do the spiral rope stitch that you will use to make the necklace for your pendant. Disregard the video's instructions for making a bracelet.
- Create a 17.25" piece of spiral rope stitch using the silver delicas and the teal seed beads, with the teal beads in the center and the silver beads on the outside. Leave an 8" tail at the beginning of your work.
- Weave back through the last four beads again and place the figure 8 half of your clasp on the needle. Then weave through the loop of 4 silver and 4 teal beads several times, catching the clasp each time to secure. Tie off and weave in your threads.
- Use the tail at the beginning to attach the other half of the clasp as you did the first.
- With a new length of thread, weave into a group of 4 silver beads in the center of your necklace. Then weave through a teal bead in the last row, one in the row above, and then another in the last row of beads on the back of your pendant, and back through the silver beads. Weave through these beads several times to secure. Tie off and weave in your threads.
