Etruscan Berry Ring

1. If you do not already know your ring size, measure it using a ring sizer or go to a jewelry store and ask them to measure your finger. This ring is adjustable, so you will have some room to work with.
2. To see how to form your ring, please watch the video: How to Make an Adjustable Filigree Ring. Using what you have learned in the video, find the corresponding number on the ring mandrel to match your ring size. Line the mid point of the filigree width with that number on the mandrel. Using the pressure of your fingers, mold the filigree around the mandrel to form your ring. You can also use bail making pliers to gently curve the edges of the metal, as shown in the video.
3. Using a paint brush, apply a small amount of Garnet Vintaj patina to the four central circles of your filigree. Blot the patina with a paper towel until you are satisfied with the color.
4. Rinse the paint brush thoroughly.
5. Apply a small amount of Jade Vintaj patina to the surrounding area of your filigree, avoiding the outer edges of the design (see photo for reference). Again, blot the patina to achieve your desired hue.
6. Allow your ring to dry for at least 10 minutes. Enjoy!
