soaked in wax. super tacky to the touch

this cord is soaked in wax and is very difficult to work with. It is super tacky like glue so nothing slides on it. it was recommended to me as a leather cord alternative by customer service, but this is not a good purchase. would not recommend.

Thank you for your feedback on this item. This cord is coated with wax to prevent fraying. The wax also helps hold knots for projects involving macrame or braiding. While we do quality check samples from each batch we receive to make sure that the wax doesn't feel super sticky or tacky, unfortunately you may have received a poor lot.
