Skill Level: Intermediate
Rich tones of copper, gold, and pearl emanate in rows within an antiqued brass bezel ring using circular brick stitch. This textured design combines metallic etched Czech glass beads with petite Austrian crystal pearls and 11/0 matte black Miyuki round seed beads.
Instructions

You will need a toothpick or piece of scrap wire to complete this project.
  1. If you are new to circular brick stitch, please watch the video: How to do Circular Brick Stitch Bead Weaving. Thread your needle with approximately four feet of Fireline thread. You will need to tie off and add more thread as you weave.
  2. Follow along with the video to weave eight rows of circular brick stitch in the following order, starting at the center: 2mm white pearls, 11/0 black seed beads, 2mm Czech glass etched beads. Repeat this pattern for the next three rows. Then add one more row of white pearls, and one more row of Czech glass beads. Tie off and weave in your thread.
  3. Using a toothpick or a piece of scrap wire, spread a thin layer of E6000 glue in the bottom of the ring bezel.
  4. Carefully press your bead weaving into the bezel, securely pressing it into the glue.
  5. Set your ring aside to dry for a few hours before wearing. Enjoy!

  • XCR-1285 - FireLine Braided Beading Thread, 4lb Test and 0.005 Thick, 15 Yards, Smoke Gray
    Project uses 5 feet. You will need 1 package.

  • XTL-1054 - E6000 Industrial Strength Glue Adhesive (0.18 fl oz)
    Project uses 1 tube. You will need 1 package.

  • FRG-0767 - Antiqued Brass 30mm Round Bezel Adjustable Ring (1)
