Retired - At a Gallop Necklace

1. Place a black finish pewter scroll heart bead onto a 1.5", 21 gauge gun metal head pin and create a simple wire loop.
2. Cut a 2' length of bottle green 1mm waxed cotton cord. String the heart charm onto the center of the cord, then thread both ends back up through the bottom of a Green Girl Studios jumping pony focal bead. Pull the cord almost all the way up, leaving just a bit below the pony where the heart is hanging.
3. Make an overhand knot about 1/2" from each end of the cord. Cut another piece of cord 1' long. Use the new piece of cord to create a sliding knot clasp as demonstrated in this video. Place a dab of E6000 glue into the final knot as shown, and trim the ends of the knotted cord after the glue has dried.
