Retired - African Violet Necklace

1. Please watch the video: How to Wire Wrap a Flower Using the BeadSmith Wooden Mandrel Set. In this video, you will see how to form this flower design using various wire gauges and mandrel sizes.
2. Using what you have learned in the video, cut 1 foot of 26 gauge wire and form a flower with seven petals using the 1/4" mandrel. Then cut 1.5 feet of 22 gauge wire and form a flower with seven petals using the 1/2" mandrel.
3. Follow along with the video to connect your two flowers using a 3 inch length of 26 gauge wire.
4. To hang your pearl dangles: Take a headpin and slide on one 4mm Austrian Crystal pearl. Above the pearl, make a simple wire loop. Latch the loop onto one petal of your larger flower. Close the loop. Repeat this process twice more for a total of three pearl dangles hanging one petal apart (see photo for reference).
5. To attach your chain: Begin by using flush cutters to cut the centermost link of your 16 inch finished cable chain.
6. Next, use pliers to open a 4mm jump ring and slide on the end link on one side of the chain. Also slide on the petal of your larger flower that sits adjacent to the petal holding one of your pearl dangles. Close the jump ring. Repeat this process to attach the chain on the opposite side of your flower (see photo for reference).
7. Enjoy your necklace!
