Get ready for a clam bake, beachside with this adorable lobster charm and patriotic star flag charm bracelet.

Instructions

Note: Components and tools listed within this INSTRUCTIONS box and the printer-friendly PDF, if available, may have been discontinued since this project was published. Refer to the PURCHASE COMPONENTS and TOOLS AND OTHER SUPPLIES sections for current availability.

These instructions will give you a 7.25 inch charm bracelet. To adjust the length, simply modify the length of chain used. Note that if you alter the size, you will need to adjust the placement of the charms.

Cut 7 inches of chain (or 51 links). Open one jump ring and attach it to the last link of chain and to one end of the toggle clasp. Close the jump ring. Attach another jump ring to the other end of the chain and to the other side of the toggle clasp. Close the jump ring. Set this aside.
Take one headpin and string on one 8mm white bead. Make a wrapped wire loop. Trim any excess wire. Set aside. Repeat this step for 3 more white beads, 4 red beads and 4 blue beads.
Lay your bracelet out in front of you with the ring of the toggle clasp to the left. Now using jump rings you will add the dangles. Make sure you are adding them on to the same side of the links so they lay out correctly.
Onto link 5, attach one white bead. Link 7: one red bead. Link 9: blue bead.
On link 15, attach the lobster charm. Remove the jump ring that comes with the charm and use a 6mm 20 gauge jump ring for a uniform look.
Link 21: one white bead. Link 23: one red bead. Link 25: blue bead.
Link 27: one white bead. Link 29: one red bead. Link 31: blue bead.
On link 37, attach the star charm. Remove the jump ring that comes with the charm and use a 6mm 20 gauge jump ring for a uniform look.
Link 43: one white bead. Link 45: one red bead. Link 47: blue bead.
Clasp your bracelet and you're all done!
