New PRESTIGE Crystal Innovations for Fall/Winter
Several months ago, Beadaholique was excited to bring in PRESTIGE™ Crystal Components and their collection of beautiful Austrian crystal beads, pendants, fancy stones, and more. The quality of these components, with their precision-cut facets and beautiful uniformity, adds a luxurious element to any design. Another great appeal is the wide variety of colors and effects available, making them a joy to work with.
We are happy to announce just-released new additions to the PRESTIGE line. The crystal innovations for the Fall/Winter Collection include a new pendant shape, a new bead shape, and three new crystal colors in the Ignite Effect. The timing is great as we are all starting to think of holiday gift giving and making jewelry to sell.
The new Majestic Pendant is reminiscent of a pear or tear drop shape, but has numerous bold-appearing facets. The angular facets catch the light beautifully and really sparkle when used in a design. It is available in three sizes: 9mm, 11mm, and 16mm. All three sizes could easily be worked into earrings and the 16mm size I could see as a brilliant focal to a necklace.
The new Olive Bead's name is a perfect descriptor of its appearance. It does remind one of an oval olive shape and the all-over diamond facets add extra sparkle. This bead too comes in three sizes: 5x4mm, 7x6mm, and 9x5mm. I envision this bead worked into a graduated necklace or bracelet design, even as a very elegant stretch bracelet for the holidays.
One of the most eye-catching elements of this launch are the three new Crystal Ignite colors. These yummy colors are available for fancy stones and flat-back rhinestones. Crystal Orange Ignite is a lush bold orange but it is still soft enough to easily work into designs (I will definitely be bead embroidering around one of the fancy stones in this crystal effect). The Crystal Maroon Ignite is a rich deeper orange/red tone and perfect for fall and winter projects (I just want a pumpkin spice latte now…). Last but not by any means least is the wonderful Crystal Purple Ignite. Almost like a dark lavender, this effect would look beautiful paired with orange, yellow, or green (it is timeless as you can match it with rich tones in the fall/winter and fresh bright colors in the spring/summer).
Personally, I can’t wait to start working with these new elements. I have bead embroidery projects planned first with the fancy stones and then I know I will be making earrings with the majestic pendants. Videos and projects coming soon!
