I like to store them in a ziplock bag for easy access.

Oh that is wonderful I can make so many designs, earrings, bracelets, colourful necklaces. This is the best giveaway

I usually put them back into the bag. Unless there is only a couple left then I make more bead soup!

I have a special container for the leftovers

Big beads goes into smaller zip lock bags whereas the smaller ones are stored from little plastic containers from like sauce takeouts to IKEA spice containers and everything is sorted out by gemstone, glass, crystals, and different size and types of seed beads! Metal beads and finishings are stored in fishing tackle boxes which are super convenient due to its size and types.

I started out VERY organized, with all beads sorted by color and size, labeled, in my big container with littler containers within. Then it got overwhelming and ‘cool colors’ are in a bin over here, ‘warm colors’ in a box over there…you get the idea! LOL! Need to spend some quality time with my beads…

It really depends on how many are left. Some I sort back out and for just a few, I have my “jar o’stuff”. It is a jar of all sorts of things:beads, chain, bits of wire, and projects gone wrong.

    Angela - December 12, 2024

Left over beads from projects go back in their containers. I use a system of drawers and “tic tac” containers to store and sort my beads. Any left over beads that aren’t enough for a project go in my mason jars that are dedicated to my bead soups.

items are separated out by type, eg: gemstones, rhinestones, etc large beads stored in multi-compatment containers, seeds and other small beads are stored in plastic baggies or tubes then stored together in a larger container And if there is just few beads i will add to a bead soup
