I store my leftover beads in the container they come in if possible and then store them by size and then color group in small plastic bags or empty bead vials. I also created an Excel spreadsheet for easy reference/sorting if I’m looking for a particular bead color.

I use either small ziplock bags, or plastic containers with little compartments

    Sheila - December 12, 2024

I save my empty bead tubes and put my leftover beads in the tubes. I use these for smaller amounts of jump rings, clasps, etc. I even put my old bent needles in a tube. I never know when I might have to use one because I’ve run out of new ones.

I get the clear plastic divided boxes and I sort the beads by type, size and color. I then label the end of the box and I store them on a bookcase. Easy to find what I am looking for that way . Some are special -like Czech, large hole, lampwork etc. it takes some time but I find it keeps me from taking forever to find the beads I need for my projects.

    Carolyn Haggert - December 12, 2024

I keep most of my beads in plastic tubes or bags sorted by size and colour. The rest are unsorted and in all sorts of containers.

    Jen Celata - December 12, 2024

I haven’t figured that out yet, but I imagine I would sort them by size and color.

    Debbie - December 12, 2024

Im so unorganized most of my left over loose bead at tossed into a container together, but for the most part they are separated into small bags and all of those bags into a plastic tub.

    Vikki S - December 12, 2024

I’m super organized,. Everything has it’s little storage space, but I do have a small bead soup container. Those are good for weaving projects, or sun dangles, sometimes kid projects.

    terry holland - December 12, 2024

i store mine in baggies, sometimes sorted by color. Or i’ll make a baggie with complementary colors, to come back to later for design inspiration

    Jameka Purdie - December 12, 2024

I use bead storage solutions to keep most of my beads and findings organized. When I only have a few of a bead left, I toss them in my “treasure trove” to be used later by me, my daughter or my students.
