By following the instructions below you will make one earring. Repeat all instructions to make the second earring.
- To begin, please watch our video: How to Use the Baby Jewel Loom. In this video you see how to string the Baby Jewel Loom and start a few rows. If you are unfamiliar with the regular Jewel Loom you can see that full video here.
- As seen in the video, string your loom so that you have 16 warp threads. There are 15 columns to this pattern.
- Begin the loom by threading a needle with about 6 feet of thread. Pick up 15 blue beads for your first row. Thread them onto the loom as seen in the video. Then continue by following the pattern.
- Once you complete the pattern, please watch our video: How to Finish Off Traditional Loom Work and Add a Slider Clasp. Tie off and weave in your threads. Cut off the piece from the loom and tie off the cords as seen in the video. Add a dab of Hypo Cement to the knots. Trim any excess cord. Add a dab of glue into the well of the slider clasp and slide the loom piece into the clasp. With your chain nose pliers bend the end cap to cover the slider. Move to the other side of the loom and repeat this process.
- Take one head pin and string on one bicone, one baroque bead (large side down), and one bicone. Make a simple wire loop. Open the loop, same as you would a jump ring and attach it to one loop of the slide end. Close the loop.
- Take one eye pin and string on one bicone. Make a simple wire loop that faces the opposite direction of the other loop. This will allow the earring to sit facing forward. Open the loop, and attach it to the loop of the slide end. Move to the other side and attach this loop the the earring finding. Close the loop and you're all done.
