The contrasting colors chosen for this project look particularly striking on dark hair, with the feather appearing to float freely. Choose colors that you like, to match an outfit, or that will look good with your particular hair color.

Using 18 gauge silver plated square craft wire and 20 gauge silver plated half round wire, create a feather embellishment for a black tone headband frame as demonstrated in the video. Make sure that your square wire has a true square shape with nice crisp corners to achieve the pretty spiral look when twisted.
