If you aren't already familiar with Ladder Stitch, please review our video on it before you proceed. Single-thread about two yards of black Wildfire onto a needle. At this point, you may want to condition your thread with Thread Heaven (XCR-9800), but since Wildfire is comprised of thermally bonded synthetic fibers, it is not absolutely necessary.Ladder stitch together nine antiqued copper twisted tube beads, leaving a six inch tail. Stitch back down into the second from last bead and add another tube. Ladder stitch one more bead and pass your needle back up through the last bead in the first row. Pass back down into the second row and complete this square by ladder stitching a total of nine tube beads.Repeat the previous two steps six more times for a total of eight times. Tie an overhand knot between two beads and weave in the remainder of the thread. Trim off excess thread.Add your needle to the tail of thread on the opposite end and repeat the previous step.Thread a copper headpin through the last tube bead on each end of the bracelet, so that each one points outward.Create a wrapped wire loop on each headpin and trim off excess wire.Open a jump ring and use it to attach the lobster clasp to one end of the bracelet. Close the jump ring again.Create an extender chain by joining six jump rings together. Attach the last jump ring to the opposite end of the bracelet.Thread an antiqued copper fluted bead onto a headpin and create a wrapped wire loop on the end.Open the last jump ring in the extender chain and thread it through the wrapped loop. Close the jump ring again. Keywords: btq-vintagelookTip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces. All designs © Beadaholique Inc.
