Instructions

Note: Components and tools listed within this INSTRUCTIONS box and the printer-friendly PDF, if available, may have been discontinued since this project was published. Refer to the PURCHASE COMPONENTS and TOOLS AND OTHER SUPPLIES sections for current availability.

  1. Cut a piece of thread to whatever length you feel most comfortable working with. You will need to add more thread during your project, as shown in this video.
  2. Watch our video on how to do the Russian Spiral
  3. Thread your needle and pick up your beads in this order: two gold 15/0s, one gold tube, two silver 15/0s, one silver tube, two teal 15/0s, one teal tube.
  4. Follow the instructions in the video, and alternate your colors to match the first row of your bracelet.
  5. Continue until your bead weaving is the desired length, such that you can complete the circle and be able to put on the bracelet. At this point, continue as if to do another row of the Russian Spiral, except instead of adding new tube beads for each of your three colors, sew through the corresponding tube beads of your first row.
  6. Once you have connected the first gold, silver and teal tubes to the last row, your bracelet will be fully formed. Knot your thread and tuck it in before snipping the extra thread.
