A bead woven wirework focal was created using the Baby Jewel Loom with 8/0 seed beads, Artistic Wire, and rolo chain. Customize this innovative bracelet design by choosing beads of various sizes and colors.

Instructions

Note: Components and tools listed within this INSTRUCTIONS box and the printer-friendly PDF, if available, may have been discontinued since this project was published. Refer to the PURCHASE COMPONENTS and TOOLS AND OTHER SUPPLIES sections for current availability.

These instructions will make a 6.5 inch bracelet. To modify the size, adjust your chain lengths accordingly.

If you are new to loom weaving, begin by watching our video: How to Use the Baby Jewel Loom.
Please watch the video: How to Use the Baby Jewel Loom with Artistic Wire. You will use approximately 12 feet of 26 gauge wire to set up your loom as shown in the video. For this pattern, you will need 9 warp wires.
Follow along with the video to create nine rows of 8/0 seed beads in the following order: Turquoise, Purple, Gold. You will use 8 beads per row.
Finish off the ends of the warp wires with picot beaded edging and wrapped wire loops as shown in the video.
Use flush cutters to cut eight 2.25 inch lengths of 2mm rolo chain, and two 2.25 inch lengths of 3mm rolo chain.
Use pliers to open a 4mm jump ring, and attach two 2mm chains to a loop on one side of your slide clasp. Repeat this step to attach chains onto each of the four endmost loops of the clasp (see photo for reference).
Open another jump ring and attach one 3mm chain to the center loop on your clasp. Repeat this step on the opposite side of your bracelet. Enjoy!
