Show and Tell: Gemstone Geode Beads

Hi, this is Kat with beadaholique.com stones so I'm gonna start actually by talking about these teardrops over here now this is the shape of a briolette and you can kind of see how they're strung so you can see where those holes are and you're actually going to get a whole strand and the reason for that is because you can automatically see the variance in the actual beads this one even here looks very close to the gold ones that I have down here but you can just see how different they all are and because these are natural you're gonna get that sort of natural goj pew can even see on this one he's kind of cut off but actually this is a this could be a really interesting focal so if you were to get a piece like this have no fear we can kind of match them up but just so that you're aware that when you do purchase these you're going to be getting something that's really natural and really organic so you can just kind of also see here in the other teardrops that I have now I want to move along to some of the beads that we have so these are some of the faceted ones and you can sort of see that little geode in there it's gonna be that nice little Jersey effect but these are gonna be smaller beads you're gonna get a little bit less of that sort of drusy on the coins you're gonna get a little bit more you can see on this one it has a really beautiful drusy effect and just like I love how they sparkle and this beautiful iris is just a really nice little pop if with you especially if you're using it with other gemstones so these ones over here these are a little bit tumbled so they're a little bit smoother but they still have that geode that little sparkle on the inside and then I just want to draw your attention up here you can see that like I said we have the iris of course but we do also have these beautiful blue and silver and just to kind of show you the variance here I mean you have a piece like that where it's really really cut out and then you might have a piece that's maybe a little bit smaller but this is the whole lot of beads that you'll get so you'll get a nice beautiful strand so be able to kind of mix and match and put things together and create wonderful designs so speaking of designs I have a couple here I have a bracelet that I used some leather cord and some leather cord and findings here and I just wanted to find three little jerseys that were kind of similar you can see these are the same ones here now just to kind of show you a little 360 so this one has that nice drusy on this side and it has a nice big hole is this one has a little flat side on it but there's a lot going on in just this one little bead here so that's why I'm just kind of turning it over in my fingers just so you can really see it and you can see how big and bright and beautiful these really are and the same goes for a smaller size of the same Jersey you can just sort of see the varying sizes here of these beautiful geodes and then for something a little bit different we have something that is more like probably a jersey that you're used to and it is kind of this flat drusy so you have that drusy on the top and then a nice little tumbled coating on the bottom there so you get a nice little variance in that and this one actually I wanted to bring in the lava beads so those little black beads are actually part of a previous launch and those are our lava beads and you can find those at beadaholique.com now just to kind of show you we do have some lovely gold and silver and then these ones are kind of fun they're like a minty green so you can see how it's all crystallized on the top there but you get that nice sort of shiny on the sides and the bottom so very cool just really really unique things and like I said you get a whole big strand so you can really choose and mix-and-match and find the jerseys and the geodes that go well together so I hope you enjoyed this video you can find all of these supplies and even more videos at beadaholique.com you
