Create two new family heirlooms with these beautiful locket Christmas ornaments. One has a lovely silk ribbon as the hanger and the other has a beaded hanger made of stretch cord. Both contain family photos to be treasured for years to come!
Instructions

Please note that you will need to print your own photo for this project. You can also use pieces of other papers with meaning such as a ticket stub, plane ticket, menu, playbill, postcard, etc.
  1. To make this project, please watch the video: How to Make Locket Christmas Ornaments. This video will share some tips about how to print your photo and size it for your locket. It will also teach you how to make the stretch cord beaded hanger.
  2. Print and cut your photo. Insert it into your locket. If you want, add a small amount of glue with a gluestick to the back of the photo. Let dry.
  3. Insert the ribbon through the loop of the locket. You do not need to cut the ribbon. Tie a bow with the ribbon making sure to leave a nice loop to go around the tree branch.
  4. For the locket with the stretch cord hanger, first print/cut/insert your photo into the locket. Next, follow the instructions in the video to make your beaded stretch cord hanger. Enjoy your new ornaments!
