Instructions

This necklace measures 20 inches. For a necklace that is longer or shorter, simply adjust the Opelon cord length.
  1. Begin by cutting a 26" length of Opelon stretch cord with your scissors. (I have already included 3" on each side to allow for knotting).
  2. Attach a bead stopper onto the 3" mark from one side of your length of cord to keep your beads from falling off while you're stringing.
  3. Next, string on the following: 1 turquoise bead, 5 natural wood beads, repeat this pattern 3 more times, 1 light brown ribbed bead, 1 natural wood bead, 1 light brown tapered oval bead, 1 natural wood bead and 3 dyed magnesite tooth beads. Repeat this whole sequence again to complete the second half of your necklace. See photo for reference.
  4. Next, remove your bead stopper and gather both ends. Tie an overhand knot. Tie another knot on top of that one. Repeat one more time for added stability.
  5. You're done!

  • BWD-0411 - Smooth Wood Beads, Tapered Oval Slice 45x12mm, 4 Pieces, Light Brown
    Project uses 2 pieces. You will need 1 package.

  • SPTU-75 - Turquoise Gem Tumbled Oblong Nugget Beads 7-14mm /15.5 Inch Strand
    Project uses 7 pieces. You will need 1 package.

  • BWD-0429 - Smooth Wood Beads, Round with 10mm Diameter, 36 Pieces, Natural
