Retired - Victorian Rose Earrings

1. Before beginning this project, please watch our video: How to Use Vintaj Patinas and Glazes. From what you learned in the video, use the Marble White Patina to paint the top side of the stamping. Using a paper towel, blot off any excess patina.
2. Glaze the top of the stamping with a thin layer of Vintaj Glaze. Let dry for a few minutes. Flip the stamping over and glaze the back of the stamping. Be sure to not use too much so you do not fill the holes of the filigree. Let dry for a few minutes.
3. Place the Austrian crystal button on top of the stamping. You will notice that the four holes of the button line up with four center holes in the stamping.
4. Cut a piece of wire, 4 inches long. Leaving a tail of 1 inch, thread the wire up from the back of the stamping and the button, thread the wire across the button and down through the hole. Thread the wire back up from the next hole and criss cross it to get to the final hole and thread the wire back down. (See photo for reference)
5. On the back of the stamping take the two tails of wire and twist them to secure them. Trim the wire with the flush cutters.
6. Around the edge of the filigree, there are two open holes next to each other. Orient the button so it is straight up and down. Attach one jump ring to one of the holes. Close the jump ring. Attach another jump ring to the adjacent hole. Close the jump ring.
7. Open the loop of the earring hook and loop on both jump rings from the previous step. Close the loop.
8. All done!
