Retired - Halloween Magnet

1. Once you have your image, you are going to want to cut it to fit into the bezel. To do this, take a US quarter and trace around it. This will be the correct size for your magnet. Then cut it out with a pair of scissors. If you happen to have a 1" round hole punch, you can use this as well.
2. Once you have your image cut out, spread some Nunn Glue over the entire backside. Flip over and place into your bottle cap setting. Press into place and smooth out with your fingers to remove any air bubbles. Let dry for 30 minutes. Using a paint brush, paint an even layer of Nunn Sealant over the top of your image. Let dry fully and paint another 2 layers (letting each one dry fully). You can watch this video here on preparing images for pendants.
3. From this step on, the process for making this magnet is shown in the video here. If you are familiar with resin, mix your resin and pour into the bottle cap. Remove any bubbles with a torch or other heat source. Let cure for 24 hours. It will not be fully cured for 3 days but after 24 hours we can safely go onto the next step.
4. Place a dab of E6000 on one side of your magnet. Next, center the magnet on the backside of the bottle cap and press into place (the magnet will actually pull the bottle cap to it, just make sure to get it centered with the glue squashed between the magnet and the bottle cap). Let dry and cure another 2 days then stick on your fridge or other magnetic surface.
