This finished necklace is 20.5 inches in length.
- Begin by cutting about 2 feet of beading thread. Thread your needle and place a bead stopper about 6 inches from the end. Pick up two seed beads and one dagger bead by the second hole (the hole closest to the center of the bead). Pick up two more seed beads and another dagger bead by the second hole. Continue until you have 10 dagger beads total. Remove your needle and place a bead stopper on your thread end.
- Place a needle on another 2 feet of beading thread, and this time pickup one seed bead and go back through the top hole of the string of daggers that you just strung. Continue by picking up a single seed bead in between each top hole of each dagger.
- Once you have gotten to the end, take the thread that is going through the top hole of the daggers and string it back thru that first seed bead you started with in the previous step. Work your beading thread through the thread path in the circle until the thread ends meet up with each other, pull them snug to close your circle and tie an overhand double knot. Work some of each thread tail back into your circle and then trim the ends with your thread zapper.
- Repeat this process with the thread that is going through the two seed beads and the second hole on the daggers (remove the bead stoppers first). Trim the ends
- Repeat the above process twice more, so you have three "flowers" total.
- Cut a piece of chain that is 3 inches. Loop it around two flowers, by going though the center circles of the bead woven flowers. Connect the ends of this chain by opening a jump ring and closing it around the two end links of this chain.
- Repeat this last step to attach the third flower in the same way. You now have the 3 flowers linked together (see photo).
- Cut a piece of chain that is 16 inches. Thread this chain through the center circle of one of the end flowers and then loop it around to form a double chain. Open a jump ring and attach it to both ends of this chain, close the jump ring. On to this jump ring, attach another jump ring. And add a third jump ring to that last one. To that final jump ring, attach a lobster clasp.
- Repeat the previous step for the other side. However, add one more jump ring, for a total of four to the ends of the chain.
