Retired - Lucille Earrings

1. Remember to double these instructions to make your matched pair of earrings.
2. Thread onto a 3" brass head pin 1 Austrian crystal 4mm round bead in light amethyst purple, and 1 Austrian crystal 6mm round bead in cyclamen opal. Start to make a wrapped wire loop after the last bead but before completing the wrapping, slip one of the loops on the brass ornate flower connector into the loop you have created. Now complete your wrappings. Cut off excess wire with flush cutters.
3. Take another 3" brass head pin and snip the head off of the pin. Start making a wrapped wire loop on one end and again, before completing the wrappings, slip the loop on the flower connector opposite the one which you connected your dangle to in the previous step, into the loop and then complete your wrappings. Thread onto the pin 1 Austrian crystal 6mm round bead in cyclamen opal. Right after the bead, start making another wrapped wire loop and this time slip the bottom loop of the antique brass ornate connector (see photo) into your loop and then finish your wrappings. Cut off excess wire with flush cutters.
4. Take your chain, and cut 2 segments from it - 9 chain links long each. This particular chain is made up of open links, meaning you can open them just like you would open a jump ring.
5. Open the end link on one of the chain lengths and attach it to the side loop of the ornate brass flower which already has the beads attached. Close the link back up. On the other end of that same chain length, open the end chain link and attach it to the side loop of the larger ornate brass connector at the "top" of your dangle earring. Close that link back up. See photo for exact placement. Repeat this same step with your other cut chain length on the opposite side of your earring.
6. Now open the loop at the base of your earring hook the same way you would open a jump ring. Link it to the top loop of your ornate connector. Close the earring loop back up.
