Retired - Lucea Purse Charm

1. Begin by cutting 9 inches of colorful cotton cord.
2. Take one of your ribbon crimps, insert one end of your cord, and use chain nose pliers to squeeze the crimp securely closed over the cord. Repeat this step to attach your other ribbon crimp on the opposite side of the cord.
3. Attach your cord to your oval lobster clasp by opening a 5mm jump ring and sliding on the loop of one ribbon crimp. Also slide on one of the large oval rings on your lobster clasp. Close the jump ring. Repeat this step to attach the other ribbon crimp onto the 2nd oval ring on your clasp (see photo for reference).
4. Use flush cutters to cut 5 lengths of silver chain as follows: 0.5 inch, 1 inch, 1.5 inch, 2 inches, and 2.5 inches.
5. Using pliers, open a 5mm jump ring. String on the end links of each of your cut chains in the order listed in the above step. Also string on one 8mm closed jump ring. Close the jump ring.
6. String a headpin through one 15mm yellow pom pom. Make a simple wire loop, and attach the loop to the 0.5mm chain.
7. String a headpin through one 20mm blue pom pom. Make a simple wire loop, and attach it to the 1 inch chain.
8. String a headpin through one 20mm pink pom pom. Make a simple wire loop, and attach it to the 1.5 inch chain.
9. String a headpin through one 25mm green pom pom. Make a simple wire loop, and attach it to the 2 inch chain.
10. String a headpin through one 25mm purple pom pom. Make a simple wire loop, and attach it to the 2.5 inch chain.
11. Assemble and attach your purse charm as follows: loop the colorful cotton cord around the strap of your purse. Then latch your lobster clasp onto the closed 8mm jump ring that holds the chains and pom pom dangles (see photo for reference ). Enjoy your purse charm!
