Retired - Lady of the Hour Bridal Necklace and Earrings Set

1. To begin, use a pair of flush cutters to cut one 16" length, three 3/4" lengths, three 1" lengths, three 1 1/4" lengths, three 1 1/2" lengths, and three 1 3/4" lengths of gold-filled delicate cable chain.

This video will show you show to use 24 gauge round half-hard gold filled wire to make jump rings using a pair of Wubber bail making jewelry pliers. Use the method shown to make eighteen 5 mm jump rings.
3. Open a 5 mm jump ring and place a slender top-drilled stick pearl onto it. Then put the jump ring through the last link on one of the lengths of chain. Repeat this process with 14 more stick pearls and the rest of the chain lengths.
4. Divide up the chains and pearls into three groups that each have one of each length of chain.
5. Open another 5 mm jump ring and put the last link of the free end of all of the chains in one of the groups onto the jump ring. Then put a gold-filled simple deep small earring hook onto the jump ring and close it.
6. Repeat the last step with another group to complete the second earring.
7. Open the last 5 mm jump ring and put the last link of the free end of all of the chains in the remaining group onto the jump ring. Close the jump ring. Slide the 16" length of chain through the top 5 mm jump ring on this last group.
8. Use a 4 mm, 21 gauge 14K gold filled jump ring to attach a 14K gold filled straight lobster clasp to one end of your 16" chain. Attach a second 4 mm jump ring to the other end of your 16" chain.
