This finished necklace will measure approx 19 inches.
- To begin, take one eye pin and add 1 silver bead, 1 crackle bead, and 1 silver bead. Create a simple wire loop. Set aside. Repeat this process six more times.
- The Nunn Design chain you are using consists of open chain links, meaning that you can open and close them just like jump rings. Count 11 chain links and separate out the 12th one, leaving yourself a piece of chain 11 links long. Repeat this process 7 more times.
- Connect your beaded simple wire loop segments and chain lengths together in the following order (again, just using the chain links as jump rings): 11 links, 1 simple wire loop link, 11 links, 1 simple wire loop link, 11 links, 1 simple wire loop link, 11 links, 1 simple wire loop link, 11 links, 1 simple wire loop link, 11 links, 1 simple wire loop link, 11 links, 1 simple wire loop link, 11 links.
- For the beaded portion of this necklace. Cut off 24 inches of beading wire and place a beadstopper about 3 inches from one end.
- String onto your beading wire 1 crimp tube.
- Next, string onto your beading wire: 27 seed beads, 1 crackle bead. Repeat this sequence another 8 times, but on the last one do not add a final crackle bead.
- String onto your beading wire 1 crimp tube.
- Take the end of your beading wire and thread it through the loop at the base of your strand reducer clasp. Loop the wire around and back through your crimp tube and several beads adjacent to it. Pull snug and crimp your crimp tube. Snip off any excess wire with your cutters.
- Go to the other side of your necklace and remove the bead stopper.
- Place the wire tail through the other side of the clasp. Loop the wire around and back through your crimp tube and several beads adjacent to it. Pull snug (not too snug though, make sure your necklace still has some flex to it) and crimp your crimp tube. Snip off any excess wire with your cutters.
- Now you will open one link on the end of the silver chain to use as a jump ring to attach it to the strand reducer clasp. Repeat this for the other side of the chain as well.
