Hi, this is Julie with beadaholique.com and today I wanna show you how to make the floral drop lucite necklace. So when you purchase the kit you're going to get everything you see here, just what you need to make the necklace which is great because you don't have to buy a whole pack of jump rings or a whole pack of head pins, you get just what you need you're gonna get a pre made chain, a head pin a couple large bead caps, a couple small bead caps a large lucite flower and a small one in a nice color combo, a jump ring and a pretty bead as well. Now tools do not come with the kits but all you really need for this kit is your very basic jewelry making tools a pair of chain nose pliers, a pair of round nose pliers and a cutter as well. Let me show you how to make this really quick and easy kit. Take your head pin place onto it your glass bead you follow that up with one of the small bead caps facing in the downward position to go over the bead add your large flower again facing in the downward position. Then we're going to add the bead cap with the rounded edge followed by the bead cap with the pointy edge you can see on this one I actually have it so it's flaring upwards. It's a really pretty petal effect add our small lucite flower and our other small bead cap so there we have the actual drop which we've created. We're going to make a wrapped wire loop to do that make sure all of your beads have slid down to the base of the head pin grip the head pin right above the last bead cap bend the wire at a 90 degree angle switch pliers go ahead and use our round nose pliers gripping the head pin right at that bend, take the wire with your fingers and loop it up and over, rotate the pliers go ahead with your fingers pull the wire around so that you've created a loop. At this point go ahead and grab our chain nose pliers again grip that loop and now we're gonna make the wraps just using our fingers and wrapping the tail of the head pin around itself make a couple wraps and then at the back you're just going to go ahead, trim the wire with your cutters. You'll see you have a little rough tail right there. Grab your chain nose pliers again tuck that tail in and it'll help to stabilize your wrappings when you do that see that's what we've got. Now we just need to attach it to our pre-made chain necklace. To do that we've provided a jump ring take the jump ring and open it. Use your chain nose and a round nose for this, twist it and open it.
