Hi, this is Julie with beadaholique.com Today we'll show you how to make the floral drop lucite earrings which is an exclusive kit from beadaholique.com and they come in several different colors you can see I have a pink one which is paired with a little bluish purple accent. I have a blue one paired with green and then I have a white one paired with purple and they're really pretty to see how they will hang it might be easier to show you with the pink one. They are really a pretty little earring and they're very easy to make like I said this is an exclusive kit from beadaholique.com So when you order it you're going to get everything you see right here just what you need to make these earrings. This is going to include a couple little faceted glass beads these little pink lucite flowers the little blue ones. Again it's going to be whatever color you order your kit in this particular one is what you're gonna need to make the pink earrings. You'll get a couple earring hooks, a couple head pins, you're going to get three different styles of bead caps, the larger ones you'll get two of each and then the smaller ones you're gonna get four now tools do not come with the kit but all you really need are the very basic jewelry making tools a round nose plier, a cutter and a chain nose plier so without further ado I wanna show you how to make this earring this is really easy to make. It's a great beginner project you're going to take the head pin, place onto it your round bead, then take one of your small bead caps, place it in the downward position, follow that with one of your lucite flowers again facing down and you can see in the earring what we're doing here. We're just stacking on these pretty bead caps. We're going to take a bead cap with the rounded edge, place it over it. So then we're going to take the bead cap with the pointy end and you see how I'm putting these on so that the pointy end are curving up. It's going to create this really pretty petal effect. Then we're going to take our smaller little lucite flower put it on top and end up with one more of the small bead caps to sandwich everything together. See what we've got here. So now going we're to go ahead and make a wrapped wire loop to do this let all of your beads end caps go down to the bottom of the head pin grip the head pin right after glass bead cap and create a 90 degree curve with your wire. Take your round nose pliers grip it right in the curve area and loop your wire up and over, rotate your pliers and continue making a full loop go ahead and remove the round nose pliers, pick up the chain nose pliers again and grip that loop and now with our fingers we're just going to loop the wire around several times so there we have a nice wrapped wire loop you're gonna trim our end now if you have a little bit of wire sticking out, go back with your chain nose pliers and tuck it in now all we have to do is attach the earring hook which is super easy. Go ahead unlatch the hook, slide it on through the loop and you have just finished one of your earrings and then you would make the second one with your other ingredients there is a very pretty pair of the floral drop lucite earrings.
