Hi, this is Julie with Beadaholique.com and today I want to show you how to make the Evening Waltz Earring and this comes as a completely kit from Beadaholique.com So here is an example, I already used half the kits to make this finished earring and what you'll need to complete this earring in terms of tools is a pair of wire cutters a round nose pliers and a chain nose plier and in the kit you'll have all the ingredients to make your complete earring. Like I said I've already done one so I used half of the ingredients but you will get two stairway beads you'll get four of these little bead caps from TierraCast and two of these little beads which I have a great detail to them and then you'll also get four Swarovski rondelles for the findings there are earring hooks, two eye pins and two head pins so how do you go about making these earrings. It's actually quite simple, they go together really quick take your head pin and placed onto it this lovely detailed bead and you're going to bend your wire at about an forty five degree angle take your round nose plier, grip them right at the bend bend the wire over the top of the plier then you're gonna rotate your pliers up to the top grip it and complete your bend you just made a simple wire loop and all you need to do now is trim your loop take your cutters and just cut where the wire overlaps take chain nose plier and straighten up your loop if there's any gap close the gap take your eye pin and place onto it one rondelle one bead cap facing up your stairway bead which fits in that bead cap really nicely another bead cap in the down direction and another rondelle pay attention to the orientation of the loop at the bottom, you want your loops to always face the same way at least in this earring again create a simple wire loop. Just kind of bend that wire at an angle grip it with round nose pliers bend the wire over the top rotate your pliers, continue your bend and use your cutters to snip it now we're going to use our chain nose to straighten up that loop and see if they're both facing the same direction, if they're not what you can do is you can take your round nose pliers and twist wire is very forgiving. If you do need to orient them properly don't worry about it just use your pliers to do so so now we need to attach these two parts together and place our earring on the top of this lovely column we're just going to open our simple loop the same way we would open a jump ring so we're not going to pull it apart we're going to want to push open it attach it to the loop at the base now we just close it back up for the earring do the same thing, open it attach the earring hook close it back up and now you have a lovely new pair of earrings that you made yourself.
