Retired - Hummingbird Song Necklace

1. Begin by making all of the dangles for this necklace. Onto one headpin, place one capri blue fire polish bead, one hummingbird bead, and one more blue bead. Make a simple wire loop. Set aside. You will repeat this step for the remaining 5 hummingbird beads.
2. Onto one headpin, place three blue beads and make a simple wire loop. Set aside. Repeat this step one more time.
3. Onto one headpin, place two blue beads and make a simple wire loop. Set aside. Repeat this step two more times.
4. Onto one headpin, place one blue bead and make a simple wire loop. Set aside. Repeat this step three more times.
5. Cut your chain into one length of 16 inches, one length of 1 1/4 inches, one length of 1 inch, two lengths of 3/4 inch, two lengths of 1/2 inch.
6. Find the center of the 16" chain. Open one jump ring and attach it to this center link of this chain and add one length of 1 1/4 inch of chain to the jump ring. Close the jump ring.
7. Looking at the 1 1/4 inch chain that is now hanging from the center of the chain, count down four links and onto this link you will attach one silver hummingbird dangle by opening the simple wire loop (just as you would a jump ring). Close the simple wire loop.
8. Move to the end of the same chain, add one gold hummingbird dangle.
9. Looking at the 16" chain, move four chain links to the right of your center jump ring. Attach one of the headpins with three blue beads on it. Repeat this step on the left of the center point as well.
10. From the link on the right, where you attached the last headpin, count 6 links. Open one jump ring, and attach it to this link as well as one length of 3/4 inch of chain. Close the jump ring.
11. Onto the first link in the chain you just added, add one headpin with one blue dangle on it.
12. Move to the end of that piece of chain and add one copper hummingbird dangle. Repeat the last three steps on the left side of center.
13. From the link, on the right, where you attached the last jump ring, count 4 links along the 16" chain and add one headpin with two blue beads. Repeat this step on the other side.
14. From the link, on the right, where you attached that last dangle, count 6 links along the 16" chain. Open one jump ring and attach it to this link and add one length of 1/2 inch of chain to the jump ring. Close the jump ring.
15. To the end of this chain, add one headpin with a gold hummingbird dangle on it. Repeat this step on the other side, substituting a silver hummingbird dangle for the gold one.
16. From the link, on the right, where you just added the last jump ring, count 4 links and add one headpin with one blue dangle on it. Repeat this step for the other side.
17. Move to the end of the right side of the 16" chain. Open one jump ring, attach it to the last link in the chain and to one lobster clasp. Close the jump ring.
18. Move to the end of the left side of the 16" chain. Open one jump ring and attach it to the last link in the chain and to one more jump ring. Close that jump ring. To that last jump ring, add another jump ring. And finally, to that last jump ring attach a final jump ring for a total of four jump rings in a link.
19. Onto that final jump ring, attach one length of 1 inch chain. Close the jump ring.
20. To the end of that 1 inch chain, attach one headpin with two blue beads.
21. You're all done!
