Hi. This is Julie with Beadaholique.com. I want to show you how to use texturing hammers. Right now I have in front of me three different ones put out my BeadSmith. These are actually double-sided texturing hammers. You'll see there's one pattern on one side and other pattern on the other side. Which is really handy when you're texturing. Here at Beadaholique.com we also sell other great texturing hammers as well. These are the ones I want to show you real quick. To give you an idea of the variety of patterns you can get with texturing hammers here's a couple different samples. So to begin let's choose a hammer. I'm going to take the one here which has this nice criss crossed pattern. I've got myself a steel bench block and a rubber pad underneath to absorb some of the shock. When you're texturing with a hammer you want to make sure that you have a good solid surface. You don't want to do it on a wobbly table. Go ahead and put your sheet on brass down and here we go. As you can see it created a great texture and that was quick and easy to do. Go to Beadaholique.com for all of your beading supplies needs!
