Hi, this is Kat with beadaholique.com now this is a really great product and it comes in two pieces here so we're gonna have the primer and the X as they call it and but first I just want to show you that when you purchase this you'll actually get this really nice little booklet here that'll kind of go over exactly what I'm going to be talking about in this video here so again this is instant needle and this works great for using on like esslyn cord it's wonderful to get a stiff little needle on the end so that you can pick up your beads nice and easy and this is a wonderful technique to use for kumihimo or bead crochet or anything where you're gonna be stringing a lot of beads where you don't have a needle on the end so the first thing that we're gonna do is we're gonna take our primer and our needle X and what we're gonna do is we're just gonna unscrew the tops here now these are these sort of travel shipping so you don't want to lose those in fact I would recommend sort of reattaching them after you're done making your needle or needles so go ahead and just set those aside and I have a little piece of paper on my work surface here because this is in essence an adhesive so you just definitely want to make sure that your work surface is covered so that you don't get that attached alright so what we're gonna do first is I'm going to take off the little cap for my primer and I'm gonna stick the cord right down into the center there and I'm going to kind of turn it to the side so you can see how far down so I'm just sticking it down into the primer there and then what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna squeeze the top and pinch it and then just kind of strip it out there we go alright so now I'm gonna kind of lay that down for a second and I'm gonna let that dry for about one to two minutes so I'm gonna let that dry for one to two minutes and then I'm we're going to come back and we're gonna do step two alright so I've let this dry for about a minute or so and so then next part that we're going to do is we're going to take the instant needle X and we're gonna do the same process so we're just going to remove that extra little cap there and I'm going to thread this down through the top and just so you can kind of see it on the side there and then all I'm gonna do is just squeeze the tip and then pull it out now this process you can do more than once so if you're we're gonna let this dry again for another minute or two but I'm gonna actually kind of talk through and what I want to say is that if it is not stiff enough for you let's say you have heavier beads if you're working with metal beads or something you can actually do this part of it again to get a little bit more of a stronger stiffer and needle on the end of your cord oh yeah this is a great thing that works for kumihimo bead crochet anything where you're gonna kind of be loading and on because sometimes what you'll do and what you'll find is kind of unravel that a little bit is that while you're trying to work with one of these threads if you were to put a regular needle on it you'd have to now get two threads through each bead and sometimes that just doesn't work so this is a great little alternative to that and I'm actually gonna kind of hold this up I don't want to put it down because it might stick to my surfaces you can kind of see a little bit but I'm just gonna kind of hold this here for another minute here and let it fully dry and then right when I come back I'm going to show you how to trim it to get the best needle possible and how stiff it is alright so to finish up here what we're gonna do is I'm gonna take my snips here and I want to cut it at an angle so that I get even more of a sharp tip needle on the end so that's nice and sharp which is great so just to kind of show you here like you can see actually as it bends in where the glue or where the instant needle sort of stopped so it makes a nice little stiff needles for you to like pick up your beads really really great stuff and again it helps you with sort of getting those beads down on a single cord if you are working with smaller beads so again this is the instant needle that you use the primer and then you use the X and then you just wait for it to dry and use snip it off and it's a great little product to use so I hope you enjoyed this product demonstration you can see even more by heading over to beadaholique.com and if you liked this video be sure to hit that subscribe button below
