Made to resemble Hawaiian Puka shells, this choker length necklace will have you ready to hang ten in no time.

Instructions

Note: Components and tools listed within this INSTRUCTIONS box and the printer-friendly PDF, if available, may have been discontinued since this project was published. Refer to the PURCHASE COMPONENTS and TOOLS AND OTHER SUPPLIES sections for current availability.

These instructions will give you a 17 inch necklace. Adjust the length by adding or subtracting the number of beads.

Cut off four lengths of beading wire, 20 inches each.
Place all four strands in a large bead stopper.
To each strand, string two seed beads. To all four strands, string one quadratile bead.
Repeat the above step until you have strung 16 inches.
To one strand, string one crimp tube. Thread it up through a closed jump ring and back down through the crimp tube. Pull snug. Crimp the crimp tube. Snip any excess wire. Add a crimp cover.
You will repeat the above process for the other three strands on this side. You will only be using two jump rings so you will need to have two strands onto one jump ring and the other two onto another jump ring.
Open one jump ring and attach it to both closed jump rings. Close the jump ring.
Open one more jump ring to attach to the last ring you added. Close the jump ring. Repeat once more.
You will repeat the above process on the other side of this necklace.
When you are adding your final jump ring, add one lobster clasp. Close the jump ring.
