This necklace measures 20" long. To make your necklace longer, simply add more chain.
- With your flush cutters, cut two 10 inch lengths of your chain. Set aside.
- Next, take one head pin and snip off the head with your flush cutters. Create a simple wire loop with your round nose pliers. Snip off any excess wire.
- Then slide your Agate tube bead onto that headpin. Create another simple wire loop and snip off any excess wire.
- Now open up a jump ring with your chain nose pliers and slide it through one of the simple wire loops you have created. Without closing the jump ring, slide on the last link from both of your two lengths of wire. Now close the jump ring.
- Open up a jump ring and slide it onto the last link of one of your lengths of chain. Close the jump ring.
- Now do the same thing with your other jump ring and other side of chain, but this time also link on your clasp. Close up the jump ring.
- Now you will begin adding on your Turquoise bead drops. Take 1 turquoise gemstone bead and slide a headpin through it. Create a simple wire loop and snip off the excess. (since your headpins are 3" long, you will be snipping off as much length as needed)
- Repeat this process 14 more times.
- Now open up 10 jump rings and slide them through the loops on 10 of your simple wire loop bead drops. Do not close the jump rings up quite yet.
- Lay your chain flat on your workspace. You will now begin adding your bead drops to your chain.
- Start on the left side of your Agate tube bead. Skip a link on your chain and slide on an open jump ring with a Turquoise bead drop onto the next large link in the chain. Close the jump ring.
- Repeat this process 4 more times on this side of the necklace.
- Do the same thing on the right side of your Agate tube bead. You should now have a total of 10 beaded drops hanging off of your chain, 5 on either side.
- Open a jump ring and slip it through the loops on your last 5 remaining bead drops. Before closing the jump ring, also link it to the simple wire loop on the bottom of your agate bead. Close the jump ring.
- Your necklace is now ready.
