Retired - Far Out Ring

1. You will notice that there is a front and back to the flower stamping. The back has a little lip from where the stamping was punched. The front side edge is a bit smoother.
2. Begin by painting the back side of the stamping blank with a coat of silver patina. For instruction on how to use Vintaj patina, watch our video here. You will not wipe off the paint from this back side. Allow to dry completely.
3. Once the backside has dried, repeat the silver paint on the other side. Allow to dry completely.
4. Now taking a scrap piece of paper, place a dot of purple patina on it.
5. Carefully dip the tip of your brush into the patina and swirl it onto the front side of the flower. You can make any design you choose or you can follow my design style from the photo.
6. Once you have done your design that you want in purple, repeat this last step with the blue patina. Be sure to rinse and dry your brush so that the patina does not harden it.
7. Let your design dry completely then use the Vintaj glaze to seal the top of the flower. Let dry and repeat on the back side.
8. When everything is dry, place a dab of E6000 onto the pad of the ring finding. Center the flower stamping onto the ring and press down to secure the glue.
9. Let dry completely before wearing.
