By following the instructions below you will make one earring. Repeat all instructions to make the second earring.
- Cut a piece of wire, about 1 foot long.
- Wrap the end of the wire three times near the top of the wire frame. You will be wrapping it around one side of the frame to secure it in place.
- Begin to wrap the wire down the frame. You will alternate between wrapping it around the whole frame shape and wrapping it around one side of the frame to secure it.
- Continue wrapping the wire around the frame and when you get towards the bottom, place the gemstone cabochon in the frame. You will keep wrapping to trap and suspend the gemstone.
- Work your way back up to the center of the frame and finish on the wire wrapping by wrapping it twice around one side of the frame. Trim the wire.
- Open the loop of the earring hook, the same way you would a jump ring, and attach it to the wire frame. Close the loop.
- All done!
