- Cut a piece of wire at about two feet long. Anchor one end of it to the ring form by wrapping it tightly several times around where the ring splits into two separate rows of five loops.
- Continue wrapping the wire up one of the two rows of loops. Thread the wire through one of the two outermost loops, thread three 11/0 seed beads, a 6/0 seed bead, and three more 11/0 seed beads. Thread the wire back through the same loop, and up through the other outermost loop. Repeat beading pattern. Essentially, you are creating a figure eight through the set of two loops, each half of the figure eight containing the same amount of beads.
- Wrap the wire up to the next set of loops, and repeat the beading pattern except with an extra 11/0 seen bead on either side of the 6/0, i.e. thread four 11/0 seed beads, a 6/0 seed bead, and four more 11/0 seed beads. Thread the wire back through the same loop, and up through the other outermost loop. Repeat beading pattern to complete other half of the figure eight.
- Wrap the wire up to the next set of loops, and repeat the beading pattern except with an extra 11/0 seen bead on either side of the 6/0, i.e. thread five 11/0 seed beads, a 6/0 seed bead, and five more 11/0 seed beads. Thread the wire back through the same loop, and up through the other outermost loop. Repeat beading pattern to complete other half of the figure eight. This is the highest point in the ring.
- Thread the second to last set of loops as you did the second set. Thread the last set of loop the same as the first.
- Wrap your wire several times around the other side of your wrapping.
- Add four 11/0 seed beads, an Austrian crystal bicone, two more 11/0 seed beads, an Austrian crystal bicone, two more 11/0 seed beads, an Austrian crystal bicone, and four more 11/0 seed beads. Pull the wire tightly across the beaded part of the ring and anchor it by wrapping it tightly around the other side of the ring. Trim off excess wire.
