Retired - December Sky Ornament

1. This entire project is demonstrated in the video How To Make A Filigree And Austrian Crystal Ornament.
2. To get started, sandwich your two identical pieces of filigree together, so that the "good" side is facing out on both pieces.
3. Cut your 26 gauge silver wire according to the length in the video, and then following what you learned in the video, begin to wire wrap your Austrian Crystal bicones. Follow all the directions in the video until you have wire wrapped all your beads on all 4 sides of the filigree.
4. Note that the video shows using a pear shaped Austrian crystal crystal pendant in the following step. I chose not to use one for this project, if you are interested, it is item number SWC-4000, a 16mm Austrian crystal pear pendant in crystal.
5. Cut a 12 inch length of beading wire.
6. String 6 Austrian crystal 4mm bicone beads and 1 silver plated crimp bead onto the beading wire. Slide all of these to the middle of the beading wire. Thread the beading wire through one of the openwork teardrop shape holes in the filigree. Make it so that 3 bicones are on each side. Take the beading wire tail (without the crimp bead) and thread it up through the crimp bead, going in the same direction as the other beading wire. Pull snug (you will have both tails sticking upwards.Crimp your crimp bead. DO NOT CUT WIRES.
7. Now thread onto each tail of beading wire: 5 bicones, 1 crimp bead, 5 bicones, 1 crimp bead, 5 bicones, 1 crimp bead, and 5 more bicones. Onto one of the tails, add another crimp bead. Take the tail without the crimp bead and thread it through the crimp bead on the other tail going in the opposite direction. Pull both wire tails tight. Crimp the crimp bead and cut off excess wire with flush cutters.
