Dark Waters Chevron Bracelet

1. Please watch our video: How to Flat Odd-Count Peyote Stitch. In this video you will learn the basics of peyote.
2. Thread your needle with a length of thread that you are comfortable working with. As you weave you will need to tie off and weave in your threads.
3. Leave a tail of about 10-12 inches. Begin the bead weaving by following along with the pattern image to create the length of the bracelet.
4. To attach the clasp please watch our video: How to Attach a Vertical loop Multi-Strand Clasp to Peyote Bead Weaving. Also please see photo for reference. You can color match the beads you add to clasp to continue your design as done in the example.
5. From one end, turn your thread around to come up so the thread is coming up through the second up bead. Thread on two beads, the loop of the clasp and two more beads. Thread down through the next up bead. Thread down through the bead work to come up through the next up bead. Thread on two beads, the loop of the clasp and two more beads. Thread down through the next up bead. Turn the thread around in the bead work and go back through for extra security. Tie off and weave in your thread. Repeat this process on the other side.
