  • Brass base metal electroplated with a silver tone nickel-free hypoallergenic metal in a bright finish.
  • These barrel end caps are excellent for ending cords and attaching clasps to necklaces and bracelets.
  • Simply dab some glue inside cord end and insert the trimmed end of the cord completely through to the end of the cap. We recommend our Zap-a-Gap glue for most types of cord.
  • Measurements: 6.5mm long including loop, 2mm outer diameter. The ring has an outer diameter of 2mm and a 1.5mm inner diameter. Will fit up to 1.2mm cord.

Too small

These are lovely little cord ends. They look like they are constructed well. However there's no way on earth they can fit a 1.5mm cord. Assuming that "cord" is defined to be some sort of multistrand textile (as opposed to a wire or a solid rubber), you'll never stuff the end into these things. I tried putting a 1mm cord in. It fit but so snugly that I could not put any glue on the cord first. Since they require glue to be secure, I don't believe it's possible to use any cord that is thicker than about 0.5mm in diameter.
