The bracelet in this project measures 9" with the clasp. To make the bracelet smaller or larger, simply adjust the Regaliz cork cord length.
- Before you begin, please watch the videos on How to Measure and Assemble a Regaliz Corduroy Rubber Bracelet and How to Attach Regaliz Clasps to Regaliz Cord. These videos show similar techniques. You will also need to refer to the photos often to mimic my exact design, but feel free to alter this bracelet any way you'd like.
- Begin by cutting two 15" lengths and one 5" length of gold Artistic Craft wire with your flush cutters.
- Starting at the 10mm mark on your pre-cut Regaliz cork cord, begin wire wrapping your wire and make 15 coils. (You can add more or less coils if you'd like.) Keep in mind you will be gluing on your cord end to the first 10mm of your cork cord. Snip any excess wire using your flush cutters.
- Next, begin stringing on 2 or 3 Turquoise chips onto your wire, coil it all the way around and repeat. I tried to position each chip so it fit snugly with the next coil, but you can position them any way you like. Wrap 7 more coils of wire with Turquoise chips, followed by 5 coils without chips. I wire-wrapped 13 chips total onto this end. See photo for placement assistance.
- Add a few drops of Super New Glue into a TierraCast Maker's Collection Taj cord end. Take that same end of your cork cord length (the one you just added Turquoise chips onto) and gently place it into the glue. Hold in place for a few moments until the glue dries.
- Repeat the process of wire-wrapping Turquoise chips (using your second 15" length of wire) onto your second cork cord end. Also glue on your second Taj cord end. Set aside to dry.
- Next, take your 5" length of wire, and repeat the process of wire-wrapping 8 Turquoise chips onto the center of your cork cord length.
- Using your chain nose pliers, open a gold plated jump ring and slide it through the loop on the cord end on the left slide of your bracelet. Close the jump ring. Open a second jump ring and slide on the loop from your TierraCast Maker's Collection toggle bar and that first jump ring and close.
- Open a second jump ring and slide it onto the loop on your second cord end. Before closing, also slide it through the loop on your TierraCast Maker's Collection toggle and close.
- You're done!
