Retired - American Summer Necklace

1. Begin by cutting the chain into two equal lengths of 6 inches each. Set these pieces aside.
2. Cut off 12 inches of beading wire. Place a bead stopper about 2 inches from one end.
3. On to the wire, thread in this order: 1 red bead, 1 10mm white bead, 1 red bead, 1 10mm white bead, 1 red bead, 1 12mm white bead, 1 red bead, 1 12mm white bead, 1 red bead, 1 12mm white bead, 1 blue bead, 1 16mm white bead, 1 blue bead, 1 16mm white bead, 1 blue bead, 1 16mm white bead, 1 blue bead, 1 16mm white bead, 1 blue bead, 1 16mm white bead, 1 blue bead, 1 12mm white bead, 1 red bead, 1 12mm white bead, 1 red bead, 1 12mm white bead, 1 red bead, 1 10mm white bead, 1 red bead, 1 10mm white bead, 1 red bead.
4. Now thread on 1 crimp tube. Take one 6 inch piece of chain, thread the end of the wire up through the last link in the chain and back down through the crimp tube. Pull snug, crimp the crimp tube. Thread the excess wire back through the beads. Trim if necessary.
5. Use a crimp cover to cover the crimp tube.
6. Remove the bead stopper and repeat the last two steps on the other side of the wire.
7. To one end of the chain, open a jump ring and close it around the last link in the chain.
8. To the other side of the chain, open a jump ring, attach one lobster clasp and close the jump ring around the last link in the chain.
9. All done!
