  • Start this project by watching the video, How to Make a Teardrop Bead Frame out of Wire for Jewelry Design. This video will show you how to make the focal components for this project. Cut a 3-inch length of 20-gauge wire and create your bead frame.
  • Next, place 1 pearl onto an eye pin. Create a simple wire loop on the other side of the pearl. Trim off excess wire.
  • Open a jump ring and attach it through the hole in your briolette pendant as well as one of the loops on your pearl. Close the jump ring. Open the loop on the other side of the pearl and connect to the base of your teardrop bead frame. Close the loop.
  • Open the loop at the base of your earring hook and link it through the two loops at the top of the teardrop bead frame. Close the loop.
  • Repeat the above steps to make your matching earring. Enjoy!
  1. Start this project by watching the video, How to Make a Teardrop Bead Frame out of Wire for Jewelry Design. This video will show you how to make the focal components for this project. Cut a 3-inch length of 20-gauge wire and create your bead frame.
  2. Cut 12 inches of 26-gauge wire and wire wrap five 4mm pearls onto the bead frame you just made. The video, How to Wire Wrap Micro Spacer Beads onto an Open Frame Pendant, shows you how to do this. Make it so your beads rest evenly at the base of your tear drop shape.
  3. Cut a length of chain 2 links long and notice that each link has a small hole section and a larger hole section. Place your pear-shaped pearl onto a ball head pin and start to create a wrapped wire loop but before completing your wrappings, slip the smallest hole section of the cut chain link length into the loop. Create your wrappings and trim off excess wire.
  4. Open a jump ring and slip the top link of your chain dangle and the two loops of your handmade bead frame onto it. Close the jump ring.
  5. Cut 4 inches of 26-gauge wire. Create a wrapped wire loop on one side of the wire. Slide on your 8mm pearl. Create a wrapped wire loop on the other side of the pearl but before completing your wrappings, slide on the jump ring you just attached in the previous step.
  6. Cut another 4 inches of 26-gauge wire. Create a wrapped wire loop on one side of the wire. Slide on your 6mm pearl. Create a wrapped wire loop on the other side of the pearl but before completing your wrappings, slide on the wrapped wire loop on the other side of the 8mm pearl from the previous step.
  7. Open the loop at the base of your earring hook and link it to the wrapped wire loop on the other side of the 6mm pearl from the previous step. Close the loop.
  8. Make your second matching earring the same way as the first. Enjoy.
